Track: Good  Weather: Fine

Amenable doesn’t win out of turn but is knocking on the door and brings the right form to the table. Jimmysstar has the wide draw to contend with but looks a good hope here. Tamerlane maps kindly from the draw and should be hard to hold out against this lot while Kinloch has been running close lately and looks another with good claims who maps to get a nice tow into the race.

1. Amenable (6)

Will get a nice run in transit and is 1/1 over this trip. Ran well in the All Aged Stakes when getting mowed down and that form should be good for this. Big hope.

2. Tamerlane (5)

Honest runner who has a very good record and can be prominent up on speed. Lloyd has a very good record aboard but the stable are having a bit of a rough trot. Top 3 chance.

3. Phearson (16)

Best value of the race. Can lob on speed from the wide draw and will appreciate the drop in grade.

5. Rocketing By (10)

Was keen on him last run and he had absolutely no luck. I can’t keep tipping him hut he would not shock at all taking this out at 27-1.

6. Kalino (4)

Just fair when resuming and usually takes a few more runs to get into things. Keen to follow later on in the prep.

7. Kinloch (8)

Racing in good fashion and strikes a nice race here. Maps well from the draw and Gibbons rides. 2 big ticks.

8. Much Much Better (19)

Can’t have.

9. Gravina (2)

Tough pattern to follow but more than capable on its day. Can win but tricky to trust.

10. Mnementh (7)

Can’t have.

11. Steely (20)

Prefer others.

12. Coastwatch (1)

Racing well and does no wok from the draw. Goes in the mix,.

13. Fender (17)

Can’t have.

14. Jimmysstar (11)

Thought he had his chance last run and was just fair. Need more from him to the this out but has the ability.

15. King Of The Castle (13)

Can’t have.

16. Key Largo (14)

Leaning to others.

17. Kayobi (9)

Can’t have.

18. Ma And Pa (12)

Prefer others.

19. Proverbial (18)

This looks too tough.

20. Oh Golly Gosh (3)

Prefer others.
