The betting is fairly open and early favouritism is shared between Comfort Me who won the Eurythmic Stakes last start by a length, and Searchin’ Roc’s who ran on strongly for 5th in the Eurythmic Stakes after being wide throughout. Third favourite is Magnificent Andy who finished 3rd in that race and is drawn well. Valour Road won this race last year andwas 4th in the Eurythmic, while Zipaway resumes here after 33 weeks. The other runners are currently $11 or longer.

Won this race last year and was 2nd in 2021. ​This 9YO is the oldest runner this year and is still racing well. He was 4th in the Group 3 Eurythmic Stakes after running 2nd in the Idyllic Prince Stakes. Must respect.​

Resumed from a 33 week spell to finish 11th in the Eurythmic. Might need another run to show his best.

3. Trix Of The Trade (3)

Finished 10th in the Eurythmic. Wait until he shows form.

4. Comfort Me (7)

Ran 3rd in this race last year. Won the Eurythmic Stakes last start by a length and looks the leading hope.

5. Casino Seventeen (5)

Resumes from a 21 week spell and has had 2 trials. Keep an eye on the betting.

6. Let’s Galahvant (8)

Came from last to finish 7th in the Eurythmic when first-up. Has won 2 of 4 second-up and can place.

7. Magnificent Andy (1)

Finished 3rd in the Eurythmic and is drawn well Has good statistics at this track and distance and should be in the finish.

8. Zipaway (2)

Resumes here after 33 weeks and was 2nd in a recent trail. Should run well first-up.

9. River Rubicon (9)

Ran 9th in the Northam Cup last start. Prefer others.

10. Alaskan God (4)

Hasn’t raced for a full year where he ran 12th of 13 in this race in 2023. Prefer to see.

11. Searchin’ Roc’s (11)

The only mare in the race this year. Ran on strongly for 5th in the Eurythmic Stakes after being wide throughout. Can be in the finish.
