JRA Cup 2024 Preview
Track: Good 4 Weather: Fine
The future looks bright for Kingswood who was an easy last start winner and should get all the favours from barrier 1. Harder here but looks a huge hope on the quick back up. Gear Up should be set to peak fourth up and comes out of some handy form races. Future History finds a suitable field but doesn’t win out of turn. Second To Nun has been thereabouts this prep and will appreciate a good draw and kind map with Kah doing the riding.
2024 JRA Cup Runner by Runner
1. Future History (3)
Chased home Land Legend and Zardozi and while he wasn’t close, that is good form for this. Flies over this track and trip and is well placed to give this a shake. Goes close.
2. Smokin’ Romans (5)
Goes well here and does have a good record with Brown aboard. Expect a more prominent ride this time around and is a strong chance in this field.
3. Gear Up (7)
In the market last start and didn’t figure. The run prior was close up with Future History and is good enough to take this out. Loves the trip and is a top 3 chance.
4. Kingswood (1)
Has put together two wins in a row and hard to not be impressed with the latest. Has good wraps from the stable, Allen sticks and finds the right race to be going close.
5. Second To Nun (4)
Consistent runner who has been there abouts without winning lately. Kah rides and does find the right race. Suited to any rain.
6. Mr Waterville (6)
Can’t have.
7. Promises Kept (2)
Prefer others.
8. Kettle Hill (8)
