Royal Patronage was rock solid again last start and has the speed to lead these up and take beating. Pericles is dual nommed but commands big respect if racing here. Kovalica is due for another win but does map for every hope while GoldenPath is having a great prep and only needs even luck from the draw to be going close.

Class of the field who maps for a tidy run from barrier 4. Brings in some strong form lines and if racing here will take beating at healthy odds.

Having a superb prep and will be typically hard to hold out. Has the speed to offset the wide draw and can go close.

Can’t have.

4. Kovalica (2)

D-day has come and gone. Looking at others.

5. Nonconformist (5)

Capable of a big run on his day and liked the return effort. Should be able to give this a shake.

6. Golden Path (7)

Racing in superb fashion and couldn’t make it four in a row last start but wouldn’t have lost any admirers. Goes in the mix here.

Can’t have.

8. Adelaide River (6)

Prefer others.

9. Berkshire Shadow (13)

This looks too tough.

Leaning to others.

Needs it heavy.
