Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

Cracking race. Broadsiding maps to do no work from barrier 1 and does look well suited to this field. Most of these come out of the Run To The Rose. Traffic Warden swamped them last run and can go right on with things in this. Stormy Boy comes out of the same race and did plenty of early work. Every hope to turn the tables if jumping clean. Linebacker hit the line hard and can take this out while Anode has been forgotten by the market and was right up there with them fresh. Excellent edition and a strong field.

1. Broadsiding (1)

Enormous last prep and the win prior to heading to the paddock was huge. Should give this a shake from the good draw.

2. Traffic Warden (9)

Swamped them for a solid win fresh. Can go right on with things.

3. Storm Boy (11)

Missed the start and used up petrol to tire late and was beaten by Traffic Warden. Can not miss the jump from out there but is a huge hope if going with them at the start and looks the one to beat.

4. Linebacker (7)

Saved ground but was very impressive to the line against Traffic Warden when making up a stack of ground late. May want further and will need luck in running but is going very well.

5. Anode (10)

Racing in good fashion. Can land on the speed and hard to knock recent efforts. Over the odds.

6. Fearless (2)

Can’t have.

7. Mayfair (5)

Prefer others.

8. Emirate (3)

This looks too tough.

9. Tropicus (6)

Leaning to others.

10. Clear Proof (8)

Can’t have.

11. Daggers (4)

Scratched.
