Track: Soft5 Weather: showers

The favourite Stefi Magnetica comes off the Doomben 10,000 and it was a very solid run last start and that looks strong form for this after chasing the likes of Bella Nipotina and I Wish I Win. Schwarz goes in the mix. Has the right running pattern and can be prominent from the get go. Corniche comes off a last start win and maps for an okay run while Steparty is going to need plenty of luck from the wide barrier but is worth thought against these despite the draw.

Will need a very good ride from out there but does bring class to the field and is more than good enough to take this out.

Nice win last start and suited to this field. Can go right on with things in this. Maps nicely from barrier 7 and Williams does the riding.

Can’t have.

6. The Instructor (6)

Will land up on speed and give a sight. Having a good prep and suited here.

7. Schwarz (5)

Nice win last start and can go on with things. Will land up on speed and prove hard to beat as the market suggests.

Can’t have.

9. Golden Decade (19)

Prefer others.

10. Snow Patrol (11)

Good when on song but has been mixing its form. Leaning to others.

11. Bases Loaded (10)

Can’t have.

12. Weigall Tiger (21)

This looks too tough.

13. Moravia (16)

Racing well but will need a very good steer from there.

14. Rhythm Of Love (17)

Mammoth win last start when sitting wide and given no favours. A lot harder here but trending the right way and far from hopeless at the price.

15. Abounding (3)

Racing well and maps for a tidy run from the barrier. Should give this a shake in a very open field.

Can’t have.

17. Stefi Magnetica (2)

Brings the clear best form into this race. Maps well and there is no IWIW or Bella Nipotina here. Gets the favours from the draw, brings the right ratings in and looks backable at the odds.

This looks too tough.
