Even field engaged. Fawkner Park was expected to do more fresh but is better than that and finds the right race here. Democracy Manifest has been contesting some strong races and has a booming turn of foot. Good enough to take this out. Lindermann maps for favours from barrier 1 while Nugget hasn’t won for a long time but is classy on its day and warrants a market watch.

Has the class and is a market watch upon resumption. Does have the ability to go close in this field.

2. Fawkner Park (8)

Didn’t do much fresh but that was a very hot race. Finds the right field here and expecting vast improvement.

3. Lindermann (1)

Scratched and saved for this. Quality runner who can be up on speed and goes right in the mix off best form. Big hope.

4. Arapaho (14)

Can’t have.

5. Rediener (4)

On pacer who knocked up last run. Finds the right race and can give a bold sight but the amount of expected speed is a concern.

6. Democracy Manifest (6)

Drops a few grades and has the turn of foot to give this a shake. May need some luck from barrier 6 finding the gaps at the right time but if it can get clear in this big field he is a huge hope.

7. Spirit Ridge (9)

Can’t have.

8. Converge (13)

Prefer others.

9. Naval College (5)

Class runner resuming who may want further but best efforts would give this a shake. Keep safe and respect any market moves.

10. New Endeavour (11)

Efforts have been fair this prep in good company. Due for a win but is a major player in this.

11. Nugget (12)

Hasn’t won for a long time but hasn’t seen a field of this depth for a while. Looks the right price in a winnable race and boasts a strong third up record.

12. Osipenko (10)

Cant’ have.
