Track: Good 4 Weather: Showers

Plenty to learn in this with all of the Two-year-old Colts and Geldings being first starters. The favourite at the time of typing is Tuscany from the Waterhouse-Bott stable. J-Mac rides and expecting plenty of fans on debut. NorthEngland maps for a lovely run from barrier 2 and has the booking of Tim Clark. KingKing comes out of the leading stable and will prove tough to stave off. Ripley will need luck from the barrier but has also trialled well.

Should give this a shake. From the sire of Ole Kirk and has trialled up nicely. Will get a good run from barrier 7.

From the Sire of the speedy Farnan, North England has shown good pace in trials and has Tim Clark doing the riding from the good draw. Goes in the mix.

6. Ozimozzi (11)

Can’t have.

7. Raging Force (8)

Won a trial nicely and hails from the Snowden yard. Warrants respect on debut.

8. Ripley (9)

Tough draw but did enough in a recent trial to consider here.

9. Tempestuous (5)

Well backed in early markets, drawn for a plum run and beaten by Raging Force in a trial. Well placed in this field.

10. Tuscany (6)

1.55 million Chestnut Colt from Zoustar that maps well and gets J-Mac to ride on debut. Big watch.

11. Valedictorian (1)

Can’t have.
