Track: Soft Weather: Fine

Clean Energy comes up favourite and will be hard to beat from the ind draw. Gets back off a heavy track but has been well supported and is a progressive type. Lady Shenandoah was sound on debut and the Waller / J-Mac combo are very hard to go past.  Lincolnshire will need to overcome a wide draw but gets the services of Lane and looks a hope here. Zatanna has good upside and can build

Has good upside and can give this a shake resuming from a break. Showed plenty last prep and has Tim Clark to negate the wide draw.

2. Lincolnshire (10)

Didn’t have any luck last run when caught wide but put in a sound effort. Might be caught in the same situation from the wide draw but Lane steering is ideal.

3. Canara (7)

Can’t have.

4. Clean Energy (3)

Deserving favourite who was ultra impressive on debut. Comes out fo the right camp but does look short enough coming back off a heavy track.

5. Run Lucy Run (2)

Can’t have.

6. Not Surprised (5)

Won on debut in a much weaker race than this. Best to keep an eye on the market for its chances.

7. Zatanna (1)

Justified the $1.70 quote on debut with a 6.8 length win. Much harder here but has to be respected off the back of that effort.

8. Bank Book (6)

Can’t have.

9. Lady Shenandoah (4)

Solid third on debut and can build. Will relish the rise in trip and very hard to deny the trainer/jockey combo. Top 3 hope.

10. Tiye (12)

Can’t have.

11. Sheraquay (11)

Prefer in easier.

12. Pee Bee Noir (8)

This looks too tough.

13. Surprise Honey (9)

2yo Filly who trialled well and looks primed for a solid debut. Keep an eye on the market.
