This Street Boss colt trained by James Cummings was 3rd in the Group 1 Blue Diamond, won the Group 2 Todman Stakes and was 2nd in the Golden Slipper. He has already amassed a million dollars in prizemoney and looks the one they have to beat.
He ran 3rd in the G2 Skyline Stakes then 5th in the Golden Slipper. In both of those races he had to be steadied off heels so perhaps could have finished closer. One for the multiples.
This Zoustar colt trained by Peter Moody has won three of his four starts and is the only runner to have won over the distance (not once but twice). He won by 2.25 lengths over 1400m at Sandown Hillside then won the G2 Sires Produce over 1400m at Flemington by 1.5 lengths. I like this colt and expect to see him in the finish.
4. Tiger Of Malay
He was hampered at the 150m when 1.9 lengths 5th in the G2 Silver Slipper Stakes, and should have finished closer, then was a very close 2nd in the Pago Pago. One of the chances.
5. Daily Bugle
Finished 4.15 lengths 11th in the Sires Produce at Flemington then won the Mornington Sires over 1500m by 1.25 lengths. Rough hope.
Ran on strongly from well back for 1,8 lengths 7th in the Pago Pago. Not the worst.
One of two runner for Anthony Cummings (the other is Chill) this Choisir colt is still a maiden and is aiming too high.
8. Four Moves Ahead
This Snitzel filly trained by John Sargent has two wins from three starts. She won on debut then was a 0,3 length winner of the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes before chasing well for 4th in the Golden Slipper. Should be in the finish.
9. Queen Of Wizardry
She debuted with a win in a 2YO handicap then ran 4th in the $2M Magic Millions 2YO Classic at the Gold Coast. She only finished 13th in the Golden Slipper after being checked of heels at the 700m and not running on. Could surprise.
Has had three races and was 0.2 lengths 2nd in a mid-week 2YO maiden handicap last start. Will win $10,000 here even if she finishes 9th or 10th.
