A.R. Creswick Stakes 2022 Preview
Track: Good Weather: Fine
Should be nothing short of a hot tempo here with the highly promising Star Patrol leading the market. Will have to defy giving weight to its rivals but does look highly promising thus far to date. Passive Aggressive is undefeated and can continue that here while Karacasu is the class of the field and will be pouncing on them late. Expecting a fast tempo and a cracking race.
A.R. Creswick Stakes 2022 Runner by Runner
1. Star Patrol (3)
Extremely hard to knock and has done everything right to date. The main question mark is the rise in weight but Prebble sticks, drawn well and it should be fighting out the finish.
2. Ice Pick Nick (1)
Not hopeless at odds and it’ll be an interesting race of tactics early. I’d be keeping Nick safe, he’s been racing extremely well and maps to get the right run.
3. Gimmie Par (4)
Ticking along well enough but this is a hot race. Respecting the placement from Moody who has had an excellent past 12 months, can win.
4. Karacasu (7)
Good win last start after being well tried. Barrier 7 is a little tricky and there are some talented sprinters here but Karacasu brings the class. A touch hard to line up the form but it should hold up. Top 4 chance.
5. Pascero (9)
Has the right form and talent to take this race out. Should be ready to fire fresh, a strong jockey booked and looks over the odds.
6. I Am Me (2)
Hard to dismiss in a very strong field. Drawn to perfection to sit just off the speed and can pounce on them late. Solid claims.
7. Winning Verse (5)
Won well last start but some query on the form. Prefer others but keep an eye on the market.
8. Passive Aggresive (6)
Outstanding to date and the form is holding up. Does get a decent weight advantage over its main rival and should be interesting to see where Childs goes too from barrier 6 early. Cracking race and I am sliding with Passive Aggressive.
9. Gossitino (8)
Can’t have.
