This son of Shocking resumes here in his second preparation. He was heavily backed on debut at Caulfield where he produced an outstanding turn of foot to win, then was far from disgraced at Group 2 level. He has jumped out very nicely in recent weeks and with even luck should be far too good for these.

Cash For Diamonds is a seven year old mare trained by John McCardle at Mornington. She drops back to 64 grade here after hitting the line well at Cranbourne last start and gets back onto heavy ground where she has four wins and a placing from six starts. Looks setup to run well.

Raid The Bar has come up as a $3.40 second favourite in the first race on the card. He lead and appeared to have every chance when weakening out to finish fourth here last start. This is no harder but he doesn’t represent any value here especially given he has started $51 and $81 at his last two.

Best Bet Media World (Kembla Grange Race 1 No. 3) This 2yo Colt was sound first up without much luck and looks set for better races than this.
