Ameliaranne is a five year old mare trained by Nick Harnett at Pakenham and she returned well with a good closing third here on September 9. Both of her career wins have come at this track and distance in soft conditions. She is likely to find the same scenario here and with even luck from an inside alley has a great each way chance.

Deep Blast is currently rated a $3.80 chance in early markets. He is very consistent having finished in the top three at all four starts but runs into a strong benchmark 64 field here fourth up and is unproven on rain affected going. Think he is short enough.
