Our Bendigo Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Dirty Deeds (Bendigo Race 7 No. 11)

Dirty Deeds returns to Bendigo where he has two cracking previous runs.   He is likely to get some cut out of the ground here which I think he needs and he maps to get a lovely run from barrier four for Jamie Kah.  He hit the line well enough last time behind the heavily supported D’Jumbuck and may have just been lacking a bit of match fitness given he was seven weeks between runs.  He is much better set up here.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Jekyll’n’hyde (Bendigo Race 4 No. 3):

Jekyll’n’hyde is an improving stayer who has finished in the placings at his last four starts.  He worked home well to finish second this track/trip last time and has shown he is capable of handling all conditions.  He maps to get a soft run from an inside draw and has a good each way chance here.

Best Lay

Safeeya (Bendigo Race 8 No. 11):

Safeeya has come up the early favourite in the last race on the card.  She has won just one of her eight starts and comes here off a nine week let up after finishing seventh at Sandown in a benchmark 70.  She gets Jamie Kah for the first time and looked okay winning a recent Cranbourne trial but she runs into race fit horses here and doesn’t appear to represent any value at the current price.

Key Comments The track is in the heavy range. Looking for runners that will handle the conditions. The best bet has the pole position and will take beating in what is a suitable race. The feature race is the Bathurst Cup (race 7). Best Bet Phobos (Bathurst Race 2 No. 1) Maps for a dream run from the pole position with J-Vo riding.
