I’m Thunderstruck (Caulfield Race 9 No. 11)
I’m Thunderstruck is an exciting four year old gelding trained by Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr. He was sensationally backed in the Sir Rupert Clarke last start and despite getting a long way back and copping a huge bump on the turn was still able to unleash a powerful turn of foot to finish third. Huge run. Fitter for that and meets some key rivals better off at the weights here.

We made this four year old gelding a black booker after a good first up performance here on September 18. He was badly held up in the straight on that occasion but once the gap came quickened nicely through it. If there are any holes in the short price favourite Lombardo’s armor I think he’s the one that can take advantage.

Shihonka (Caulfield Race 4 No. 12):
Shihonka is rated a $4.40 chance in early markets. She made a mess of her rivals first up in a Wyong maiden over 1100m where she won by six lengths. However she didn’t beat much there and the time out of the race was solid with out being outstanding. She looks short enough here against some classy fillies.
