Redwood Shadow (Caulfield Race 7 No. 2)
Redwood Shadow has hit the line very strongly in his two runs back from a spell and looks to find the perfect set up here. He gets blinkers first time, steps to 2000m, is onto his home track and Dean Yendall should be able to find a nice spot in the running line from barrier six.

Platini (Caulfield Race 4 No. 10):
Have always had a bit of time for this four year old. He has won three of his ten starts and was unsuited getting back off a slow tempo last time but still hit the line really strongly to finish fourth at this course and distance. He was six weeks in between runs leading into that so will no doubt have some improvement to come. Daniel Moor should be able to position up much handier this time and give him his chance to sprint home over the top of them.

Spinning (Caulfield Race 1 No. 6):
This two year old daughter of Pierro ran second on debut behind the talented Gimme Par. No knock on that run however she finds a really strong race here second up and I have some question marks as to where she gets to in the run from the inside gate. Has talent but happy to work around her at the short quote.
