Tavidance (Pakenham Race 5 No. 8)
Tavidance has raced with out luck at both his starts this preparation. He went to the line untested at Flemington first up and then started favourite in the Kilmore Cup. There he was again held up after missing the start before rushing home along the fence to run a very unlucky second. Third up here with a perfect barrier (5) looks an ideal set up. He is ready to win.

Kuramae (Pakenham Race 9 No. 5):
Kuramae resumes with two solid jump outs under her belt. She is still relatively lightly raced and is coming off a good winters preparation which was highlighted by a Flemington win where she defeated Bee Hunter. This is not an overly strong race for her first up and she draws to get a soft run near the rail for Dean Yendall. We make her the best each way play of the day at $10.

Astraeus (Pakenham Race 4 No. 6):
The 4 yo son of Savabeel Astreaus is the early favorite in race 3 at Pakenham. He was well rated out in front at Moonee Valley last start to win but has a few things against him here. Pakenham is a vastly different shaped race course compared to Moonee Valley, it is a big track where as Moonee Valley is much tighter and more suitable to his on speed racing style. He also climbs back up in the weights and does not win out of turn.

Key Comments Tough card with some packed fields. The highlight is the Scone Cup (race 7). The best bet opened at $15.00 and has had good support throughout the day since markets opened. Best Bet Honey Perfume (Scone Race 4 No. 10) Beaten moral 2 runs back and atoned fresh for a dominant win when resuming. Looks suited to this field and can go on with things with a winnable weight.
