Probabeel (Caulfield Race 6 No. 1)
Classy Kiwi mare who was dominant winning at this track and trip first up in the Autumn. She subsequently went onto win the Group 1 Futurity Stakes over 1400m. She clearly brings the best ratings into the race and I don’t think Damian Lane will have too much trouble sliding across from an outside gate and finding a position up on speed. From there she should be very hard to beat.

Angel Of Truth (Caulfield Race 7 No. 2)
Last preparation this six year old son of Animal Kingdom ran fifth in the Australian Cup then finished 1.8 lengths behind Verry Elleegant in the Ranvet. He hit the line as well as anything in the Group 2 P.B. Lawrence Stakes first up and he maps to settle in the first six here. He looks extremely well placed coming back to listed level.

Deep Speed (Caulfield Race 2 No. 8):
Deep Speed is the early favourite in race number two. She fell in here first up then finished third at Flemington last start. That form reads okay for this but she is short enough in the market with the apprentice rider taking over from Jamie Kah.
