Russian Camelot (Flemington Race 5  No. 4)
With 2 wins and a place from 4 starts this Camelot colt has begun his career well. He was slowly away to be well back last start but worked home strongly for 2.7 lengths 4th over 1400m at Flemington on 7 March, then took the lead at the 350m and raced away for a 7 length win over 1600m at Pakenham Park on 0 April. The distance will suit and he will be hard to beat again.

How to pick a winner

Each Way

Naivasha (Flemington Race 2 No. 3):
This Starcraft mare trained  by Danny O’Brien is going well this campaign. She resumed for 0.1 length 2nd over 1600m at Ballarat where she had the lead but was nailed on the line, then she took over at the 250m and won by 0.3 lengths over 1600m at Sandown Lakeside on 8 April. This is a tougher race but she is going so well that she is worth an each-way bet at the current price.
