Seven year old gelding who ran a cracking race against the pattern first up in the Bletchingly Stakes. He is a two time Group 1 winner this course and distance and has a fitness edge on a number of key rivals. Expecting him to settle up on speed and prove very hard to get past.

Parlophone is a quirky mare with a big turn of foot. She closed off very strongly first up in Adelaide and I think this race sets up really well for her drawn barrier five, on her home track with Jamie Kah in the saddle. Each way chance!

Hi Stranger (Caulfield Race 2 No. 4):
Hi Stranger has come up the early favourite in race two. He won well at Moonee Valley last start and has a chance here but this is a deeper race and I can’t get him as short as the current quote. Think you will get a bigger price on the day if you like him.
