Exciting three year old resuming. He was a dominant Flemington winner on debut before bolting in in the Inglis Millennium race at his second start. Finished seventh in the Golden Slipper at his last start after being sent out favourite. May of just had enough there. His recent jump outs have been good and he maps to lead here. Think he will take plenty of catching with 52kg on his back.

Whipcracker Way (Moonee Valley Race 2 No. 7):
Has five wins and one placing from eleven starts. Was heavily supported off the back of a good trial first up at Sandown but failed to let down on the good track. Much better suited back onto soft ground here and maps well.

Quantum Mechanic (Moonee Valley Race 8 No. 1):
Quantum Mechanic is one of the equal favourites in the final race on the card. She had a good autumn campaign however her first up run in the Lets Elope Stakes was poor after getting a good run in transit. Think she is short enough here considering.
