Best Bet – Race 2 #4 Next Dimension

Drawn to get the right run either outside the lead or just off, Next Dimension looks the best way to land some early cash at Doomben. He has been dominant winning his last two and looks to be a progressive type on an upward spiral. Keen on this lightly-raced 6yo to make it three wins on the trot.

Next Best – Race 4 #5 London Banker

After coming over from New Zealand has been ultra-impressive and continues to improve. Since getting out to a suitable trip at 2000m and beyond, he’s unbeaten on our shores and I think that’ll continue here. The drop back from 2200 to 2000 may not be totally ideal, but I’m hoping the three weeks between runs will have some spring in his step. From barrier and with only 55.5kg, he should win again.

Best Each-Way – Race 9 #3 Couldn’t Refuse

He’s first-up with a big weight and wide gate so I’m sure he’ll just be flopping out the back and running home, but on his best form he is right in the finish of a race like this. While his second-up stats don’t read great on paper, there’s been a handful of fresh performances which suggest he can sprint well resuming his campaign here.
