This More Than Ready gelding has won four consecutive races after being away from the track for 18 months. He was slowly away and ran out wide for a narrow win over 1000m at Sunshine Coast on a heavy track om 11 July, then took over at the 250m and bolted in for a 3.7 length win over 1050m at Doomben on 25 July. He is absolutely flying and can notch up another win here.

Motomiss (Doomben Race 2 No. 7):
This four-year-old mare has only raced on her home track of Toowoomba so far, but has won her last three in a row. She came from 8th in a field of 12 and stormed down the outside to reach the front late and win by 0.3 length over 1050m at Toowoomba on 18 April then had an 19 week break. She resumed with a convincing 1.7 length win over 1000m at Toowoomba on 25 July and looks an each-way chance at her first race in the city.

This High Chaparral mare is the early favourite in this BM78 handicap over 2200m. She finished 4.5 lengths 6th over 2000m at Rosehill on 11 July where she had several things go wrong, then kept chasing for 2 lengths 5th over 2400m at Rosehill on 25 July. She lloks as if she needsto go up on distance rather than come down and does not look like value.
