Concocted (Warwick Farm Race 6 No. 12):
This three-year-old Written Tycoon colt trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott has a win and a place from three starts. He kept chasing with the best last 200m race sectional for 1.8 lengths 2nd over 1200m at Rosehill on 24 July, then finished 2.9 lengths 6th in the Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes over 1300m at Kembla Grange on 14 August. Resumes after a 20 week spell and has placed in two recent trials. Should be hard to beat.

Galaxy Belle (Warwick Farm Race 7 No. 12):
This four-year-old Redwood mare trained by Kris Lees has four wins and four places from 12 starts. She was a 3.5 length winner over 1800m at Gold Coast on 27 August, then won by 1.25 lengths over 1800m at Eagle Farm on 8 September. Resumes from a 17 week spell and has placed in two trials in December. Drawn nicely in barrier 1 she looks a nice each-way chance.

Kirkeby (Warwick Farm Race 3 No. 2):
This four-year-old Kermadec gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this BM 72 handicap over 2200m. He won by 2.3 lengths on heavy going over 2040m at Doomben on 10 December, then battled on near the rail for 1.7 lengths 3rd when favourite over 2000m at Doomben on 26 December. Rises in distance and carries a lot more weight here. Others offer better value.
