Yiyi (Randwick Race 5 No. 2)
This four-year-old No Nay Never gelding trained by Chris Waller has had three wins and three place from 10 starts. When resuming from a 19 week spell he ran on strongly to find the front at the 200m and raced away for a 3.22 length win over 1400m at Newcastle on 10 July, then found the front at the 250m and raced away for a 2.96 length win over 1500m at Rosehill on 24 July with the best last 600m to 200m race sectional. Going for the hat-trick here and looks a great hope.

Zelify (Randwick Race 7 No. 9):
This four-year-old Snitzel mare from the Chris Waller stable has three wins from eight starts. She chased hard in the latter stages to win by 0.8 length over 1200m at Kembla Grange on 17 April, then chased hard on the heavy track to arrive on the line for a narrow win over 1100m at Canterbury on 5 May. Resumes here from a 13 week spell and is a solid each-way chance.

Sir Crackle (Randwick Race 2 No. 6):
This three-year-old Choisir gelding trained by Bjorn Baker is the early favourite in this 3YO Maiden Plate over 1100m. He has only had two starts and was going well on the heavy track before being winded in the latter stages to finish 5.11 lengths 7th over 1100m at Randwick on 10 July, then he was the leader straightening before being headed at the 200m and finishing 3.45 lengths 8th over 1200m at Rosehill. Drops from Saturday to mid-week racing but would like to see him improve before I back him.
