This High Chaparral gelding has placed at his last two starts and will appreciate the dry going this time out. He kept chasing for 1.3 lengths 2nd over 1900m at Cantebury Park on 5 August where the going was soft, then found the front at the 350m but got tired in the latter stages for 0.5 length, 0.1 length 3rd over 2400m at Randwick on 22 August on heavy going. This is his chance to win.

Sixgun (Warwick Farm Race 2 No. 2):
This Snitzel gelding had had 2 starts. He began his career with a 0.8 length win in a Canterbury maiden over 1100m on 10 June where the 3rd horse was another 4.3 lengths back, then went to the Listed The Rosebud over 1100m at Rosehill on a heavy track on 8 August where he was slowly away and had trouble getting a run to finish 8.7 lengths 5th, but he still had he best 800m-400m race sectionals. Should at least run a place.

This Hallowed Crown mare from the Godolphin stable is the early favourite in this F&M BM 72 handicap over 1300m. She has won 2 of her 5 starts, but only beat one runner home when resuming over 1200m at Canterbury Park on 19 August. She might need another run before we see her best and there are better chances in the race.
