Promise Of Success (Randwick Race 5 No. 5)
This five-year-old Dansili mare trained by John O’Shea has two wins and three places from her eight starts. She came from well back in the field to run on strongly and just miss for a very close 2nd over 1300m at Kensington on 7 July then had a 10 week let-up. On resuming she settled at the rear then chased hard for a length win over 1300m at Kensington on 15 September where she had the best overall race sectionals. Seems to like this track and will be hard to beat.

Ita (Randwick Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old All Too Hard mare trained by Bjorn Baker has four wins and four places from her 10 starts. She took over straightening and kept going for a 1.85 length win over 1600m at Wyong on 3 September, then chased hard to find the front at the 250m and went clear for a 0.3 length win over 1550m at Kensington on 15 September. Is flying at the moment, has won her last three starts in a row and is a great each-way chance.

Blesk (Randwick Race 6 No. 7):
This five-year-old Savabeel gelding trained by John O’Shea is the early favourite in this BM 72 Handicap over 1250m. He chased hard from well back in the field for 2 lengths 5th over 1550m at Canterbury on 21 April, then kept chasing for 4.1 lengths over 1600m at Gosford on 8 May. Resumes here after a 20 week spell and placed in a recent trial. In a very open race he doesn’t offer value.
