Archanna (Randwick Race 6 No. 1)
This four-year-old Snitzel mare trained by Chris Waller has three wins and two place from eight starts. At the end of last campaign she won by 1.8 lengths over 1900m at Rosehill on a heavy track on 31 October then went for a 15 week spell. On resuming she raced keen and had to be steadied off heels at the 800m then kept chasing for 4.1 lengths 6th over 1300m at Randwick on 13 February where she lost a plate in the run. She looks to have a bright future and should be hard to beat.

Exceltic (Randwick Race 8 No. 1):
This five-year-old Excelebration gelding trained by Gary Portelli has not finished worse then 5th in five starts this campaign. He kept chasing to find the front but was run down late for 0.2, 0.2 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Warwick Farm on 10 February, then was looking for a run and chased hard when he got clear at the 250m for 0.2, 0.2 lengths 3rd over 1250m at Canterbury on 26 February. He was a bit unlucky last start and looks a great each-way hope here.

Raoul (Randwick Race 4 No. 5):
This three-year-old Kermadec gelding is the early favourite in this 3YO Maiden SW over 1150m. He started favourite and finished 0.8, 2 lengths 3rd over 1300m at Kembla Grange on 16 January where he had signs of heat stress after the race, then kept chasing for 0.4 lengths 2nd in a maiden plate over 1100m at Gosford on 24 February. This race looks a little tougher and I’m prepared to risk him.

Key Comments The track is rated a Heavy 9 and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. It's a day for mud runners. Best Bet King Yoshi (Sunshine Coast Race 4 No. 3) He had no luck at all when resuming from a break and came home fast late with good closing splits.
