This five year old Exceed And Excel horse trained by Peter & Paul Snowden has nine wins and three places from 32 starts.When resuming from a 20 week spell he chased hard for a 1.3 length win in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill on 3 April, then jumped awkwardly before looking for a run straightening and kept chasing for 1.3 lengths 5th in the Group 3 Hallmark Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on 24 April. He rates highly with Tommy Berry and should be hard to beat.

This six-year-old gelding trained by Chris Waller has seven wins and 11 places from 43 starts. He settled mid-field and just plugged away for 11.75 lengths 11th over 2400m at Caulfield on 10 April, then chased steadily for 4.75, 0.75 lengths 3rd over 2000m at Caulfield on 24 April. He drops in weight here and looks a solid each-way chance.

Parry Sound (Gosford Race 5 No. 1):
This five-year-old Pierro gelding trained by Bjorn Baker at Warwick Farm has four wins and eight places from 20 starts and is the early favourite in this BM 78 Handicap over 2100m. On resuming from an 11 week break he settled at the rear and made some ground for 4.6 lengths 8th over 1550m at Canterbury Park on 7 April, then he chased hard with the best last 800m race sectional for 1.5, 0.1 length 3rd over 1800m at Kensington on 25 April. He has the topweight of 62.5 kg and even with a 3kg claim still carries more than any other runner. Others are better value.
