Ole Kirk (Randwick Race 7 No. 1)
This three-year-old Written Tycoon colt trained by team Hawkes has three wins and four places from eight starts. He ran on strongly with the best last 200m race sectional to win the Group 1 Golden Rose over 1400m at Rosehill by 0.2 length on 26 September, then ran on strongly to go clear late and win the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas over 1600m by 0.4 length on 10 October. He resumes after 17 weeks and looks to be the best horse in the race.

Madam Legend (Randwick Race 4 No. 1):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible mare trained by Les Bridge has four wins and four places from 10 starts. She resumed from a 23 week spell for 2.5, 0.8 length 3rd over 1200m at Randwick on 26 December, then battled away for 0.2, 1 length 3rd over 1100m at Rosehill on 16 January.  With wins on both soft and heavy going, she is never far away and is worth an each-way bet.

At the end of last campaign he won a 2YO handicap by 2.66 lengths over 1600m at Newcastle on 4 July, then he resumed after 28 weeks for 0.8 length 2nd over 1300m at Rosehill on 16 January.
