Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Shihonka (Rosehill Race 1 No. 8)
This three-year-old Capitalist filly trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott has two wins and two places from five starts. She sped over to be the early leader but was headed and battled to finish 5.3 lengths 11th in the Group 3 Thoroughbred Club Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield on 9 October, then settled 3rd and kept chasing to prevail in the final stages for a 0.8 length win over 1200m at Rosehill on 17 November. Will be hard to beat.

Amiche (Rosehill Race 10 No. 7):
This five-year-old Nicconi mare trained by Edward Cummings has five wins and four places from 10 starts. At the end of last campaign she finished 2.2 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Doomben on 10 April then was spelled for 30 weeks. She resumed with a 0.3 win over 1100m at Rosehill on 6 November. Has good form on rain-affected going and looks a great each-way bet.

Born A King (Rosehill Race 10 No. 9):
This five-year-old Frankel gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this 4YO & Up BM 78 Handicap over 2000m. His first six starts were in Britain and he was off the track for over a year. At his first Australian start he kept chasing for 1.1 lengths 2nd over 1300m at Randwick on 2 November, then ran on strongly for a 0.4 length win over 1500m at Rosehill on 17 November. This is a big increase in distance and other runners offer better value.
