Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Coolangatta (Randwick Race 2 No. 2):
This two-year-old Written Tycoon filly trained by Ciaron Maher & David Eustace makes her debut in the Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes in a field of 12 unraced fillies. She was very impressive with a convincing 3.2 length trial win where she ran good time and looked to still have something in hand. Maher & Eustace won this race with Enthaar last year, and this filly looks hard to beat.

She’s Ideel (Randwick Race 9 No. 12):
This six-year-old Dundeel mare trained by Bjorn Baker has six win and 11 places from 23 starts and has won over the 2400m distance. She was well back straightening and kept chasing for 4.2 lengths 7th in the Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes over 1600m at Randwick on 4 September, then chased hard to find the front at the 150m and kept going for a 1.3 length win in the Group 3 Kingston Town Stakes over 2000m at Randwick on 18 September where the rider was a half-kilo over. She loves this track and is a good -each way chance here in The Metropolitan.

Big Parade (Randwick Race 10 No. 1):
This five-year-old Deep Field gelding trained by Mark Newnham is the early favourite in this BM 94 Handicap over 1200m. He was a 3.3 length winner of a BM 88 handicap over 1200m at Kembla Grange on 14 August, then led until headed at the 250m and kept battling away for 1.7 lengths 3rd in the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes over 1300m at the Rosehill at Kembla Grange meeting on 11 September. Has a huge 61kg to carry and others offer better value.

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes up in race 3 and only needs a pinch of luck from the barrier to be breaking maiden. Best Bet Beautiful View (Horsham Race 3 No. 1) Needs luck from out there but has been around the mark all this prep and Fry is an ideal booking. Does find the right race here and still looms at backable odds. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker Each

Key Comments The rail is in 4 metres from the 1000-380m mark and true for the remainder. Racing on a soft 5 track. The best bet is early on in the day. Best Bet Greaves (Canberra Race 2 No. 1) Capable of a big finish when on song. The map here looks good from barrier 4 and Owen has options. This race suits and last start rates well enough to take this out. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce Parker

Key Comments The rail is true. The best bet comes up in the last. Best Bet Mishare (Seymour Race 8 No. 6) Likeable return when running 3rd in a race no harder than this. The kind draw and ideal map makes for appeal and there has been good support come race day. Key Comments There are 2 features on the meeting. The Mornington Cup (race 8) and the Hareeba Stakes (race 9). The rail is out 9 metres and the best bet is in the first. Best Bet Perspiration (Mornington Race 1 No. 1) Has been excellent to date in 2 runs so far and looks ready to win. Ethan Brown does the steering and you can argue it should have won last start when taken wide and hit the line with plenty of intent.
