Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. The feature is the Group 3 Festival Stakes (race 8).

Brookspire (Rosehill Race 9 No. 4)
This four-year-old Hinchinbrook mare trained by Chris Waller has three wins and two places from eight starts. When resuming after 16 weeks she found the front at the 300m and raced away for a 3.5 length win over 1400m at Kensington on heavy going on 25 August, then was wide with no cover in the middle stages before finishing 1.8 lengths 5th over 1500m at the Rosehill at Kembla Grange meeting on 11 September. Back from a let-up and a proven performer on rain-affected going. Rates highly.

Each Way

Brutality (Rosehill Race 8 No. 13):
This five-year-old Shamus Award gelding trained by Joe Pride has five wins and seven places from 21 starts. When resuming from a 17 week spell he kept chasing from well back for 5.8 lengths 11th over 1200m at Randwick on 23 October, then chased hard from well back in the field for 5 lengths 3rd over 1300m at Newcastle on 13 November with the best last 800m race sectional. Has won two from three at Rosehill and has several wins in the wet. Looks a good each-way chance here.

Best Lay

Francesco Guardi (Rosehill Race 10 No. 9):
This four-year-old Frankel gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this BM 78 Handicap over 1500m. His first five starts were in Britain where he won his first start over 1402m. He kept chasing once clear for 1.3 lengths 4th over 1400m at Rosehill on 6 November, then kept chasing but was no match for the winner late when 0.4 length 2nd over 1500m at Rosehill on 17 November. Without knowing how he will handle the heavy track I am prepared to risk him here.

Horse Racing Tips : VIC Monday 8th August 2022

Our Pakenham Horse Racing Tips for Monday's meeting. Best Bets Prince Of Mercia (Pakenham Race 6 No. 1) This does look the right race for Prince Of Mercia. It carried this identical weight in a stronger grade last run. Maps kindly and should be getting the right run in transit. This is a suitable race and the $3.20 appeals. $3.20 Each Way Sous Les Nuages (Pakenham Race 7 No. 2) Gets a decent drop in grade and forget it went around

Horse Racing Tips : VIC Sunday 7th August 2022

Our Swan Hill Horse Racing Tips for Sunday's meeting. Best Bets Joe's Giggle (Swan Hill Race 4 No. 3) Joe's Giggle ran really well for the new stable and wouldn't have to improve much to be taking this out. Barrier 2 and Harry Grace aboard are both positives and the gate can be used to advantage. The $4.60 is healthy odds and hopefully it leaves Joe giggling. $4.60 Each Way Gleaming Legend (Swan Hill Race 2 No. 2) Gleaming Legend has

Horse Racing Tips : Hobart Sunday 7th August 2022

Best Bets Our Hobart Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Neutralize (Hobart Race 10 No. 5) Fairly confident NEUTRALIZE was the one to be with, and my best bet on a tricky day. She went super 2nd up behind Donna’s Day who subsequently when onto win again in good time. Think she’ll find the front here and with a 4kg claimer will be bowling along and prove too quick for the rest, especially over the 1100m 3rd up. She’s a free running horse and I honestly hope the

Qld Best Bets | Doomben, 6 August 2022

Best bet | Race 6 #1 Giannis One of the more interesting runners on the Doomben program. His recent form reads awful, but he did contest group one races at the end of last prep. He also won a listed race first-up less than a year ago. The trials in Queensland to prepare for this first-up assignment have been positive enough and the stable will be keen to find out where he sits after the lacklustre end to his last campaign. He will get back in the run, but should
