Our Randwick Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
The major races are the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (race 7) and the Group 1 Champagne Stakes (race 6).
Masked Crusader (Randwick Race 7 No. 2)
This four year old Toronado gelding trained by Team Hawkes has five wins and four places from 11 starts. He charged through a tight split with William Pike riding to go clear for a 2.5 length win in the Group 1 William Reid Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley on 19 March, then was looking for a run straightening and was held up from the 300 to 200m before finishing 2 lengths 2nd in the Group 1 T J Smith Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on 10 April with the best last 800m race sectional of the day at distance. He is ready for the 1400m and should win.

Roheryn (Randwick Race 5 No. 4):
This five-year-old Lonhro gelding trained by James Cummings has seven wins and five places from 19 starts. He raced keenly in the middle stages and was well back straightening to finish 4.1 lengths 6th in the Group 3 Southern Cross Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on 13 February, then ran on strongly from well back for 1.3, 0.2 lengths 3rd in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes over 1200m at Rosehill on 3 April. He goes well at Randwick and looks a good each-way bet.

Zaaki (Randwick Race 4 No. 1):
This six-year-old imported gelding trained by Annabel Neasham has 4 wins in the UK between 1600m and 1750m. At his last UK start he finished 7.8 lengths last of 7 over 1609m at Sandown Park on 16 September. At his first Australian start he chased hard when switched inside runners at the 200m to finish 3.4 lengths 6th in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile over 1600m on 10 April where he had the best last 200m race sectional of the day at distance. He has won one of four second-up starts and I am prepared to risk him here at the short price.
