This five-year-old Ocean Park gelding trained by Chris Waller has three wins and a place from five starts. When resuming from a 30 week spell he was a 0.2 length winner over 1400m at Sandown Hillside on 14 July, then kept chasing and got bumped at the 100m to finish 1.1 lengths 3rd over 1500m at Randwick on 7 August. Should get a good run from barrier 2 and be very hard to beat.

Nags To Riches (Randwick Race 9 No. 4):
This four-year-old Written Tycoon mare trained by Brad Widdup at Hawkesbury has three wins and two places from six starts. She was crowded and checked at the 900m. was looking for a run straightening and held up from the 300m to 250m and finished 6.3 lengths 7th over 1200m at Randwick on 29 May. At her latest start she kept out of trouble and ran on srongly for a 0.2 length win over 1100m at Kensington on 4 August. Rises in grade but has a 2kg claim and looks a great each-way chance.

Bigboyroy (Randwick Race 10 No. 8):
This five-year-old Dissident gelding trained by Chris Waller is the early favourite in this BM 88 handicap over 1400m. He kept coming and got there late for a 0.2 length win over 1600m at Randwick on 26 December, then was spelled for 30 weeks. On resuming he fought on well but couldn’t get past the winner and finished a neck 2nd over 1300m at Rosehill on 24 July. Has won one of five second-up, but others offer better value.
