PLEASE NOTE: Rosehill racing has been abandoned/postponed on 20 March due to the dangerous wet track conditions.

Our Rosehill Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

There are five Group 1 races – the Ranvet Stakes (race 4), the Rosehill Guineas (race 5), the George Ryder (race 6), the Golden Slipper (race 7) and The Galaxy (race 8).

She’s Ideel (Rosehill Race 9 No. 7)
This five-year-old Dundeel mare trained by Bjorn Baker has five wins and eight places from 13 starts. After a 15 week spell she resumed for 0.8, 1 length 3rd in the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes over 1300m at Rosehill where she had the best last 200m race sectional, then she chased strongly and just missed for 0.1 length 2nd in the Group 3 Aspiration Quality over 1600m at Randwick on 6 March. The extra distance suits and she is proven on soft tracks. Should win.

Each Way

Four Moves Ahead (Rosehill Race 7 No. 13):
This two-year-old Snitzel filly trained by John Sargent is the only runner in this years Golden Slipper that is unbeaten. She has only raced twice for a 2.8 length win over 1150m at Kensington on a heavy track on 2 January, then a 0.3 length win in the Group 2 Sweet Embrace Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on a slow track on 27 February. Both her wins have been on rain-affected going and as it looks as if there is a lot of rain to fall before the race – if so then we want a runner that looks to have webbed feet and she looks a great each-way bet.

Best Lay

Collide (Rosehill Race 2 No. 5):
This six-year-old Frankel horse trained by Kris Lees is the early favourite in the Group 3 N E Manion Cup over 2400m. At the end of last campaign in Europe he finished 5.96 lengths 6th in the Group 2 Prix Kergolay over 3000m on 23 August. He kept grinding away for 0.8, 2.8 lengths 3rd in the Listed Randwick City Stakes over 2000m at Randwick on 6 March at his first Australian start. He offers little value in a race where it is hard to line up his form.

Key Comments The rail is true and the conditions are in the soft range. A 9 race card takes place and the jockeys challenge looks an even spread of chances. The best bet looks well placed to notch up another win. Best Bet She's Pretty Rich (Wangaratta Race 4 No. 3) Doesn't win out of turn but did 2 starts back and again put in a solid effort last run in Morphetville. Looks well placed here on the weights scale and should give

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is out 0.5 metre from the 900m to 600m, and +1.5 metres from the 600m to 250m. Best Bet Levar (Gatton Race 1 No. 4) Levar was a close 3rd at Ipswich at his only start. From the inside barrier he should go straight to the front and should be able to stay there. Top rated. Key Comments The track is in the soft range and the rail is out 8 metres. The best bet is one of the hardest horses to catch but looks juicy odds. Best Bet William Thomas (Sandown Race 8 No. 3) He has been enormous in his past few runs without much luck and does go well on this track. Very hard horse to catch but boasts a good place rate and hasn't seen a grade this low since 2018. Can win but he
