He finished 1.5 lengths 4th over 1150m at Cessnock on 2 June where he was outgunned in the last 75m, then returned from a let-up for a 3.1 length win over 900m at Newcastle on 13 August where he had the best last 800m race sectional of the day at distance. he has a trial win since then and is ready for another win.

This Savabeel mare won the Rowley Mile at Hawkesbury on 20 August, then was bumped when jumping and settled towards the rear then only got clear late to run on strongly for 3.8 lengths 6th in the Group 3 Premier’s Cup at Rosehill on 29 August. She is on a six day back-up and should go very well here . She is definitely worth an each-way bet.
