Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Border Force (Belmont Race 2 No. 1)
With a win and a 2nd place from two starts, this three-year-old gelding has a good start to his career. He debuted for 0.4 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 8 December then fought hard to edge ahead late for a 0.4 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 22 December. He shouldn’t get into trouble in this small field and looks the main hope again.
Noble Scot (Belmont Race 7 No. 3):
This four-year-old Alfred Nobel gelding has one win and five places from 12 starts. He led in to the straight but stopped quickly late to finish 5.8 lengths 10th over 1600m at Pinjarra Park on 16 December, then led all the way and gave nothing else a chance to finally break his maiden with a 4 length win over 1500m at Pinjarra on 23 December. William Pike sticks with him and he looks a solid each-way chance in this Class 1 handicap.
Pink Carats (Belmont Race 5 No. 4):
This four-year-old I Am Invincible gelding trained by Simon Miller is the early favourite in this Class Three handicap over 1200m. At the end of last campaign he finished 0.7 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 26 June then was spelled for 25 weeks. He resumed for 4 lengths 7th over 1100m at Ascot where he started favourite and led to the turn. That was disappointing and I’m prepared to go around him here.
Our Goulburn Horse Racing Tips for Monday's meeting. Best Bets Reoffender (Goulburn Race 4 No. 8) Reoffender relishes wet tracks and looks nicely placed in this field. O'hara knows the horse well and its a good push for its chances. Maps for a suitable run midfield and should go close here. $8.00 Each Way Surreal Lily (Goulburn Race 7 No. 6) Surreal Lily did a bit wrong last start but has since trialled in outstanding fashion. It has plenty of early
Our Pakenham Horse Racing Tips for Monday's meeting. Best Bets Prince Of Mercia (Pakenham Race 6 No. 1) This does look the right race for Prince Of Mercia. It carried this identical weight in a stronger grade last run. Maps kindly and should be getting the right run in transit. This is a suitable race and the $3.20 appeals. $3.20 Each Way Sous Les Nuages (Pakenham Race 7 No. 2) Gets a decent drop in grade and forget it went around
Our Swan Hill Horse Racing Tips for Sunday's meeting. Best Bets Joe's Giggle (Swan Hill Race 4 No. 3) Joe's Giggle ran really well for the new stable and wouldn't have to improve much to be taking this out. Barrier 2 and Harry Grace aboard are both positives and the gate can be used to advantage. The $4.60 is healthy odds and hopefully it leaves Joe giggling. $4.60 Each Way Gleaming Legend (Swan Hill Race 2 No. 2) Gleaming Legend has
Our Dubbo Horse Racing Tips for Sunday's meeting. Best Bets Rhythm Is A Dancer (Dubbo Race 5 No. 2) Rhythm Is A Dancer just needs a pinch of luck from the wide draw to be taking this out. It brings in the right ratings and looks very hard to hold out in this field. $3.20 Each Way Hit The Rim (Dubbo Race 6 No. 6) Hit The Rim is racing in very good fashion and strikes an excellent opportunity to notch
