Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Blackwater Bay (Ascot Race 4 No. 3)
This four-year-old Blackfriars gelding has had four starts for a win and a place and is resuming after 26 weeks. He ran on strongly for 0.14 length 2nd over 1500m at Ascot on 15 April, then built momentun from the turn and took over at the 125m for a strong 3.11 length win in a 1600m maiden race at Ascot on 25 April. He has had two trials leading into this where he looked great and should be hard to beat.

Time Scale (Ascot Race 5 No. 10):
This three-year-old Press Statement filly led into the straight but faded late for 3.65 lengths 7th over 1200m at Belmont on 2 September and was slow to recover. She ran wide and edged ahead at the 200m and won by 0.55 length over 1100m at Northam on 17 September. She has had a five week let-up and looks to have potential so is worth an each-way bet.
