Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.
Iseered Iseered (Ascot Race 5 No. 5)
This three-year-old gelding has only had one race start where he took over at the 200m and went on strongly for a 1.31 length win over 1100m in a Kalgoorlie maiden on 3 October. Since then he has won a Lark Hill trial by 4.75 lengths on 11 January and looks ready to perform well first up. He is capable of winning this race.

Hot Zed (Ascot Race 3 No. 7):
This three-year-old gelding has raced three times and has been runner-up twice. He was outsprinted to finish 2.58 lengths 2nd over 1216m at Bunbury on 30 December, then fought hard but was overhauled late for 0.67 length 2nd over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 6 January. He is very close to breaking his maiden and is a good each-way chance here.

Axel ‘r’ Eight (Ascot Race 2 No. 2):
This five-year-old Gingerbread Man gelding is the early favourite in this Class 3 handicap over 2200m. At the end of last campaign he ground away for 3.05, 0.44 lengths 3rd over 2200m at Northam on 3 September, then resumed on 1 January where he led early but was beaten off for 13.64 lengths 14th over 2000m at Pinjarra Park. He will go better second-up but in this open race there is no value at the current price ad other runners are better propositions.
