This four-year-old Thorn Dancer mare trained by Fred Kersley has two wins and a place from five starts. She kept coming gamely for 0.3 length 2nd over 1000m at Belmont on 17 July with a good final 400m sectional, then petered out for 2.6 lengths 4th over 1200m at Belmont on 31 July. Resumes from a 24 week spell and won first-up last campaign. Will take a power of beating.

Todd Harvey trains this five-year-old Playing God mare that has three wins and three places from 17 starts. When resuming from a 27 week spell she ran on strongly getting there on the line for a 0.3 length win over 1190m at Narrogin on 18 December, then she was held up from the turn to the 200m before hitting the line well for 2 lengths 5th over 1400m at Belmont. Should race on the speed and is a solid each-way chance in this Class 3 handicap.

This three-year-old King’s Troop gelding trained by Chris & Michael Gangemi is the early favourite in this maiden race over 1400m. At the end of last campaign he finished 4 lengths 5th over 1400m at Belmont before a 22 week spell. He resumed for 3.5 lengths 4th over 1300m at Belmont on 5 January. Should improve from last start but rate others better.
