Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Saturday’s meeting.

Island Charm (Ascot Race 4 No. 5)
This four-year-old Hinchinbrook mare trained by Roy Rogers has three wins and five places from 17 starts. She kept finding the line after a tough run for 1.5 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Ascot on 20 November, then she took over late for a 0.8 length win over 1200m at Ascot on 11 December. Is in form and will be hard to beat.

Each Way

Classic Rogue (Ascot Race 6 No. 6):
After winning his last two starts, this five-year-old Dick Turpin gelding trained by Steve Wolfe has five wins and five places from 23 starts. He did best late for a narrow win over 1600m at Albany on 10 December, then drew clear in the final 100m for a 2 length win over 1500m at Albany on 26 December. Has a 3kg claim for Holly Watson and looks a strong each-way chance.

Best Lay

Jedi Mind (Ascot Race 9 No. 4):
This four-year-old gelding trained by Brett Pope has three wins and a place from 11 starts and is the early favourite in this One Metro Win Graduation Handicap over 1200m. Resuming from a 19 week spell he finished 1.6 lengths 4th over 1200m at Ascot on 11 December, then hit the line for 1.6 lengths 4th over 1200m at Ascot on 18 December. She winded to the line when 3.2 lengths 6th over 2040m at Morphettville on 26 December, then battled away to gain the upper hand in the final 50m for a 0.7 length win on a soft track over 2106m at Gawler on 8 January. She seems to like this track and looks the leading hope. $3.20 Each Way

Best Bets Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Mix (Doomben Race 7 No. 3) With three wins from three starts this campaign, Lee Freedman is putting this four-year-old Medaglia d'Oro gelding in the right races. He was bumped at the start before going on to a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Gold Coast on soft going on 11 December, then led all the way for a lovely 2.5 length win over 1200m at Kilcoy on 13 January. Best Bets Our Moonee Valley Horse Racing Tips for Saturday's meeting. In The Boat (Moonee Valley Race 8 No. 11) Lightly raced Lindsey Smith galloper with four wins and three placings from his seven career runs.  He lead around Caulfield at a fast speed last start and offered a strong kick on the turn to fend off the smart Marine One with a good gap back to third.  Maps to find the lead again here with just 55kg on his back after the claim.  Think the Valley
