Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for Saturday’s meeting. The feature events are the Bunbury Cup (race 8) and the Bunbury Stakes  (race 7).

Clairvoyance (Ascot Race 7 No. 2)
Clairvoyance has won her last two starts and has a career record of seven wins and one place from 10 starts. This four-year-old  Nostradamus mare trained by Darren McAuliffe led all the way for a length win over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 6 February, then led again for a 4.2 length win in the Listed Pinjarra Classic over 1300m on 20 February. Rates highly and should make it a hat-trick.

Spirited Session (Ascot Race 6 No. 2):
This Sessions gelding trained by Justine Erkelens has two wins and eight places from his 15 starts. He ran on strongly to just miss by a very tiny margin when 2nd over 1300m at Pinjarra Park on 6 February, then ran on strongly to take over at the 150m and hang on for a 0.2 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 19 February. Down in distance and looks a nice each-way bet.

True Attraction (Ascot Race 8 No. 3):
This six-year-old More Than Ready gelding trained by Adam Durrant is the early favourite in the Listed Bunbury Cup over 2100m. He kept coming steadily for 2 lengths 6th over 1600m at Pinjarra on 6 February, then ran on strongly taking over late for a 0.6 length win in the Listed Detonator Stakes over 1800m at Ascot on 19 February. Up in weight and distance and prepared to risk him here.

Horse Racing Tips: HK Wednesday 24th April 2024

Key Comments There is a 9-race program under the lights at Happy Valley. The rail is in the C+3 position for the meeting, and there is heavy rain forecast in the lead-up so the track could deteriorate. The first race is at 6.40pm Hong Kong time which is 8.40pm AEST. Best Bet Snowalot (Happy Valley Race 6 No. 2) Snowalot was a 0.5 length winner at this track and distance last start after being taken back from a wide barrier and running on

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race program on ANZAC Day. The feature races include the Anzac Day Stakes (race 5) and the Vrc St Leger (race 6). The best bet comes up in race 4 and looks to be a very promising type who can justify its odds on quote. Best Bet Liberty State (Flemington Race 4 No. 9) A lot to like about the last 2 wins this prep including a lass start 5 length romping in a

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 25th April 2024

Key Comments The rail is true for the 8 race card on Anzac Day. The best bet got too far back on career start number 2 but hit the line hard and looks to get things to suit in its upcoming run. Best Bet Wembanyama (Randwick Race 8 No. 4) Loved the way it hit the line last start when not suited coming from barrier 12 on the tight Wyong track. Drawn better in this, maps for a lovely run and has the

Key Comments The track is rated Soft and the rail is +3 metres from the 1550m to 500m and true for the remainder. Best Bet Dreamzel (Mount Gambier Race 1 No. 7) Dreamzel ran 2nd on debut at Ballarat and has only had 2 runs. Resumes from a 20 week break and gets a 3kg claim. Hard to beat.
