Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

iseered Iseered (Belmont Race 8 No. 8)
This four-year-old Safeguard gelding trained by Luke Fernie has four wins and two places from eight starts. Last campaign he won two races in a row at Ascot before finishing 0.7 length 2nd over 1000m at Ascot on 17 April. Resuming after 18 weeks he won by 0.3 length over 1000m at Belmont on 21 August. That was his first start at Belmont and he should be tough to beat again.

Fangio (Belmont Race 6 No. 9):
This six-year-old Husson mare trained by Roy Rogers at Albany has five wins and four places from 12 starts. She looked gone but kept grinding on for 1.2 lengths 2nd over 1600m at Ascot on 27 February, then made some ground after a tough run for 3.9 lengths 6th over 1600m at Ascot on 20 March. She resumes from a 24 week spell and is a nice each-way bet.

Best Lay

Spin The Knife (Belmont Race 9 No. 12):
This three-year-old Snippetson gelding trained by Luke Fernie has won one of his three starts. Following a narrow win at his first start he finished 2.8 lengths 7th in the Listed Supremacy Stakes over 1000m at Ascot on 7 March, then finished 9.2 lengths 13th in the Group 2 Karrakatta Plate over 1200m at Ascot on 3 April. He won a recent trial and although it isn’t like me to go against William Pike in the last, I feel he offers no value here.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 27th April 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 4 metres. The best bet was very unlucky last start when flying home and can kick the day off in fashion. Best Bet Bews (Caulfield Heath Race 1 No. 3) This 4yo Gelding has a booming turn of foot but usually requires a bit of luck in its runs. Flew to the line last start and finds a similar assignment here. May need a touch of luck getting off the rails at the right time but has

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 25th April 2024

Key Comments The rail is true. Ashley Morgan rides the best and next best of the day. Expecting the track to play fair. Currently a Soft 6 at time of writing. Best Bet Just Joan (Bathurst Race 1 No. 9) She can land up on speed and prove hard to run down from the good draw. Maps to get favours from there and looks the right price at the $3.00 mark. Morgan steers and this race suits. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Bryce

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 25th April 2024

Key Comments The rail is out 4 metres. The best bet comes up in the first of the day and is well and truly overdue for a win. Best Bet Je Reve (Gosford Race 1 No. 2) Has been around the mark all runs this prep and couldn't sustain a fast pace last run. Gosford should suit this front runner and does have 2 placings from 3 goes over this trip. Reith hops aboard for the first time and his 3yo Gelding is

Horse Racing Tips: SA Thursday 25th April 2024

Key Comments The track is rated Soft for the Anzac Day meeting. The rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Set On You (Gawler Race 6 No. 10) Resumed for 2nd over 1250m at Morphettville Parks on 6th April and gets the winkers back on. She won her only previous start at Gawler and looks nicely placed here. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way Inagurate (Gawler Race 5 No. 10) She
