Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Miss Conteki (Belmont Race 5 No. 4)
This four-year-old Eurozone mare trained by Simon Miller has seven wins from eight starts, and has won her last six starts in a row. She took over at the 200m and was ridden out for a length win over 1200m at Ascot on 17 April, then was in traffic at the turn before running on strongly and taking over late for a 0.39 length win over 1000m at Ascot on 1 May with the best final 400m of the meeting. Returns from an eight week let-up and should win again.

Secret Statue (Belmont Race 6 No. 15):
This four-year-old Statue Of Liberty gelding trained by Grant and Alana Williams has one win and three places from eight starts. He was forced very wide in the straight and kept coming gamely for 0.16, 0.59 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Belmont on 2 June, then ran on strongly to just miss for 0.18 length 2nd over 1400m at Belmont on 12 June. Drawn ideally in barrier 1 he looks a great each-way chance again.

Born To Try (Belmont Race 7 No. 10):
This four-year-old Blackfriars mare is the early favourite in this RTG 72+ Handicap race over 2200m. He was held up from the turn to the 100m and was a little unlucky when 1.22 lengths 2nd over 2100m at Belmont on 29 May, then wound up gamely for 0.78, 0.4 lengths 3rd over 2200m at Belmont on 12 June. He has drawn the outside barrier and others look to have better chances.

Key Comments The track is a synthetic tapeta-based surface and weather has minimal effect on how it races. The rail remains in the true position. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with a slight advantage to those who land forward of midfield and can find a cart into the race from the wider lanes in the straight. Key Comments The rail is in 7 metres. The track is in the soft range. Suspect runners may come wide later on in the day to be finding better ground. The best bet comes up at big odds. Best Bet Sing A Love Song (Newcastle Race 8 No. 5) Has always shown glimpses of talent across its career but does mix its form.
