Best Bets

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Miss Conteki (Belmont Race 5 No. 4)
This four-year-old Eurozone mare trained by Simon Miller has seven wins from eight starts, and has won her last six starts in a row. She took over at the 200m and was ridden out for a length win over 1200m at Ascot on 17 April, then was in traffic at the turn before running on strongly and taking over late for a 0.39 length win over 1000m at Ascot on 1 May with the best final 400m of the meeting. Returns from an eight week let-up and should win again.

Each Way

Secret Statue (Belmont Race 6 No. 15):
This four-year-old Statue Of Liberty gelding trained by Grant and Alana Williams has one win and three places from eight starts. He was forced very wide in the straight and kept coming gamely for 0.16, 0.59 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Belmont on 2 June, then ran on strongly to just miss for 0.18 length 2nd over 1400m at Belmont on 12 June. Drawn ideally in barrier 1 he looks a great each-way chance again.

Best Lay

Born To Try (Belmont Race 7 No. 10):
This four-year-old Blackfriars mare is the early favourite in this RTG 72+ Handicap race over 2200m. He was held up from the turn to the 100m and was a little unlucky when 1.22 lengths 2nd over 2100m at Belmont on 29 May, then wound up gamely for 0.78, 0.4 lengths 3rd over 2200m at Belmont on 12 June. He has drawn the outside barrier and others look to have better chances.

Best Bet Garachico (Murray Bridge Race 3 No. 2) Garachico was runner-up twice over this distance before finishing well back behind The Map in the Andrew Ramsden at Flemington last Saturday. He’ll go forward from the inside barrier and be hard to run down. Check odds on SmartB Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way El Paso Citie

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Saturday 25th May 2024

Key Comments The track is in the soft range. The rail is true. The best bet resumed with an emphatic win and should be able to go on with things. The best each way bet is due for some luck and looks well placed in its field. Best Bet Fasuto (Sandown Race 4 No. 1) Brilliant win resuming when beating a BM70 field with complete ease. Has always shown glimpses of talent across its career and the penny may well and truly have

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 24th May 2024

Key Comments The rail is in 4 metres. The track is in the soft range. The best bet went mighty close for us last start and can atone in this race. Best Bet Chaotic Beauty (Goulburn Race 5 No. 3) Thought the steer was really poor two back when given far too much work to do when narrowly missing in this grade when heavily backed. Keatings sticks aboard and she can have it more within range this time around. Forget last run when
