The feature races are the Listed Sheila Gwynne Classic (race 4) and the Diggers Cup (race 8).

Panzdown (Ascot Race 6 No. 7)
This three-year-old Panzer Division gelding has two wins and three places from seven starts. At the end of last campaign he just battled for 7.6 lengths 12th in the Group 2 WA Guineas over 1600m at Ascot on 21 November. After 19 weeks he resumed with a 2.66 length win over 1116m at Bunbury on 7 April. He looks very hard to beat.

That’s Funny Az (Ascot Race 8 No. 2):
This four-year-old Snippetson gelding has won his last four starts in a row. He led and kept going for a 1.35 length win over 1600m at Ascot on 20 March, then fought hard for a narrow victory over 1600m at Ascot on 10 April. He goes well at this track and has won twice over this distance making him an excellent each-way bet.

Creator (Ascot Race 7 No. 6):
This four-year-old Redoubte’s Choice gelding is the early favourite in this BM 72+ Handicap over 1400m. He ran on well for 0.83 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 27 March, then took over at the 150m for a 1.03 length win over 1400m at Ascot on 10 April. He has only had two wins from his 14 starts and will find it very hard to bring up back-to-back wins.

Horse Racing Tips: NSW Friday 8th November 2024

Key Comments The track is in the good range. Looking to land a multi with the first 2 of the day to kick things off in style. Best Bet Mr Damage (Kempsey Race 1 No. 4) Keen to throw in a multi with Oakfield Hawk (race 2). Beaten as an odds on favourite but very well suited in this field and from the good draw will take plenty of beating. Oakfield Hawk is also coming off a good last start win and has
