Our Ascot Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Tommy Blue (Ascot Race 8 No. 2)
This four-year-old Gingerbread Man mare trained by Simon Miller has had nine starts for two wins and five places. She resumed from a 29 week spell for 5.58 lengths 10th over 1000m at Ascot on 31 October where the trainer believed she needed further, then she fought hard to overhaul the leader late for a 1.69 length win over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 1 January. William Pike is riding and she looks the likely winner.

Sir Mambo (Ascot Race 4 No. 1):
This five-year-old War Chant gelding has four wins and 11 places from 25 starts. He loomed up at the 150m and looked a big chance but his run peaked and he finished 0.67 lengths 5th over 1200m at Belmont on 22 August, then he ran 1.86 lengths 4th over 1200m at Belmont on 5 September. Resuming here, he has placed at two of his three first-up starts and is worth an each-way bet.

We’ve Got Dreams (Ascot Race 9 No. 1):
This four-year-old Universal Ruler mare is the early favourite in this Rtg 72+ Handicap over 1000m. She won over 1000m at Belmont on 8 August, then tired in the last 200m to finish 2.44 lengths 6th over 1000m at Belmont on 29 August. Resuming from a 21 week spell she looks risky and others represent better value.

Horse Racing Tips: SA Wednesday 14th May 2025

Key Comments The track is rated good and the rail is +4 metres in the 1200m chute and +7 metres for the remainder. Best Bet Kersee (Murray Bridge Race 1 No. 10) She ran 3rd at her only start in a harder 1100m race here on 30th April. She did a few things wrong but hit the line nicely and gets Jake Toeroek this time. Top pick. Analyst: Jo Jackson Each Way

Horse Racing Tips: QLD Wednesday 14th May 2025

Key Comments The track is rated soft and the rail is +3 metres the entire circuit. As the Bat Out Of Hell over 1100m was abandoned at Gold Coast on Saturday it has been added to this meeting as race 7. Best Bet King Boom (Ipswich Race 4 No. 2) He finished 2nd over 1240m at Ipswich when resuming from a 25 week spell, after leading most of the way. Should be fitter now and should be able to go one better.

Horse Racing Tips: VIC Thursday 15th May 2025

Key Comments Night racing takes place at Pakenham. The best bet looks very hard to topple in the last and put the writing on the wall last time out. Best Bet Fabrice (Pakenham Race 8 No. 6) Good effort last time out in a race no harder than this. Drawn well, knocking on the door and looks very tough to hold out in this highly suitable affair. Horse Racing Tips: NSW Thursday 15th May 2025

Key Comments Expecting all runners to have their chance on this track. The best bet was a certainty beat last time out and can atone this time around. Best Bet Cathedral Cove (Hawkesbury Race 4 No. 3) Should have won last start when given a howler ride. Maps a little sticky but should be extremely hard to beat with any luck this time around and finds a race lacking depth. Analyst: Bryce Parker
