Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Massimo (Belmont Race 7 No. 3)
This four-year-old gelding has had six wins and seven places from 16 starts. He looked the winner at the top of the straight but was run down in the last 200m for 1.7 lengths 2nd over 1400m at Belmont on 25 July, then he took over on straightening and held off the challengers for a 1.1 length win in the Ngawyni Stakes over 1400m at Belmont on 8 August. He has good form on soft tracks and is the one to beat.

Sharpbob (Belmont Race 5 No.9):
This eight-year-old gelding has had four runs this campaign and has improved each time. He finished 3.9 lengths 5th over 1000m at Belmont on 25 July where he came from well back and made good ground in the straight. He surprised punters to win at $40 to 1 over 1400m at Belmont on 8 August and I’m hoping he remembers how he did it. He’s worth a modest each-way bet.

Fiery Water (Belmont Race 1 No. 5):
This four-year-old Playing God gelding has had one start where he was favourite and finished 0.7 length, 0.5 length 3rd over 1200m at Pinjarra Park on 5 April. There are other starters in this race wh look close to a win and he doesn’t appear value in this maiden race.
