Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.

Tena Koutou (Belmont Race 2 No. 2)
This three-year-old Blackfriars gelding trained by Adam Durrant has three wins and three places from seven starts. He took over at the 150m and kept going for a 0.89 length win in a Class i handicap over 1600m at Pinjarra Park on 24 June, then ran on well for a 1.9 length win in the Listed Aquanita Stakes over 2000m at Belmont on 3 July. Looks the testing material in the Belmont Classic.

Each Way

Speedy Miss (Belmont Race 9 No. 7):
This five-year-old Demerit mare trained by Daniel & Ben Pearce has five wins and 11 places from 33 starts. She finished 0.27, 2.14 lengths 3rd over 1200m at Belmont on 26 June, then was 0.45 length 2nd over 1600m at Belmont on 3 July. Has placed at her last four runs and this is her best distance. Looks a good each-way chance.

Best Lay

Brooklyn Pier (Belmont Race 7 No. 1):
This three-year-old Magnus gelding trained by Neville Parnham is the early favourite in this 3YO Handicap race over 1000m.  He edged ahead at the 200m but others passed him and he finished 1.28 lengths 4th over 12oom at Belmont on 19 June, then ran 1.43 lengths 4th over 1000m at Belmont on 3 July. Has drawn the outside barrier and goes up in weight. Others offer better value.

Best Bet | Race 6 #11 So Clever Listed as first emergency but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get a run. This John Moore-trained 4yo has won his only two starts and looks to have a bright future. He handled the step up from maiden to Class 1 with ease when winning at Ipswich a fortnight ago and the form around him looks solid with the second place-getter (Super Gorgeous) coming out and winning again. This looks a very winnable BM72 for a horse on the rise such as

Best Bets Our Morphettville Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Pindaric (Morphettville Race 4 No. 5) This four-year-old Fastnet Rock gelding trained by Michael Hickmott at Murray Bridge has won all five of his starts. At the end of last campaign he raced three wide with no cover and battled gamely for a narrow win over 1200m at Morphettville on 6 February. After 21 weeks he resumed with a 0.2 length win over 1200m at Murray Bridge. Three of his wins were on soft tracks and he will

Best Bets Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the weekend. Hinged (Doomben Race 1 No. 1) This two-year-old Worthy Cause filly trained by Michael Nolan at Toowoomba has four wins and two places from six starts. She began well and led narrowly and despite hanging in she drew away late for a 1.3 length win over 1350m at Ipswich on 2 July, then she hit the front and hung in the final 300m but held on for a 0.5 length win over 1350m at Doomben on 10
