Danny O’Brien’s four year old mare Sugartown returns to the races after a six week let up. She has been close up at her last two runs in Saturday grade and was a winner at her only try at this distance. She is drawn well in barrier eight and looks well placed coming back to mid week level with Damian Lane in the saddle.

Kings Charisma (Sandown Hillside Race 8 No. 9):
This former European galloper now under the care of Ciaron Maher & David Eustace at Caulfield makes his Australian debut over 1800m in the last race on the card. The speed he has displayed in his recent short course jump outs has been most impressive for a horse that has had his last four runs at 2400m and beyond. He looks set to run a big race fresh.

Adele Amour (Sandown Hillside Race 2 No. 1):
Adele Amour is the early favourite in the benchmark 70 for the three year old fillies over 1600m. She beat Barb Raider and El Patroness home here first up but had the track pattern heavily in her favour on that occasion. Fancy said horses can turn the tables on her here.
